The fresh raspberries are almost finished their summer season, along with all the hybrid brambleberries. There is only a light supply of red raspberries.
Strawberries have been picked heavily over the last few days. They need time to ripen again. Unfortunately there is No Pick Your Own blueberries this year, however we have a good supply of picked blueberries available from the shop.
Good news is that the blackberries are doing much to fill the gap in our berry range for U-pick, with the variety Loch Ness being keenly picked. Once the other varieties also get going, there will be plentiful supplies to keep up with visitor numbers, through to Easter when apples and chestnuts will be on,.
